AMANDA LIPP

Filmmaker,
Social Entrepreneur,
Speaker

Amanda is a social entrepreneur, public speaker, and award-winning documentary filmmaker, working at the intersection of mental health care, storytelling, and creativity.

As a passionate storyteller, she has directed over 100 short films and delivered more than 150 keynotes since age 18. She is partnered with major speaking bureaus and collaborates with top universities, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 corporations. Through her work, she inspires communities to rethink mental health and advocates for the role of creative expression in recovery.

Amanda is the co-founder of The Giving Gallery, an e-commerce platform that enables artists to sell their work in partnership with nonprofits. Through this initiative, she merges the healing power of art with the mission to raise awareness for mental health. Additionally, she co-founded neuroHealth, which provides specialized assessments for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In her early 20s, Amanda served on numerous boards, including Google’s Mental Health Advisory Board and as the youngest board member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest mental health nonprofit. She holds a B.S. in Human Development from UC Davis.

Outside of work, Amanda embraces adventure as part of her wellness strategy—whether through rock climbing, mountain biking, or holding a black belt in karate. In 2023, she DIY-built her own van and embraced full-time #vanlife, traveling the country to explore and spread mental health awareness.
